Welding process

Welding is a process of permanent joining of workpieces by melting or plastic deformation of the workpieces, either locally or as a whole, by means of heat, pressure or a combination of both.

Welding steps:

Workpiece preparation: Clean the welding surface of oil, oxides, etc. to ensure that the contact surface is clean.

Positioning: Fix the parts to be welded in the corresponding position and prepare the welding equipment.

Heating and welding: Depending on the welding method, the workpiece is heated or pressurised until the material melts or plastically deforms.

Welding cooling and checking: After the welding is completed, the parts to be welded are left to cool down and the quality of the weld is checked to see if it meets the requirements.

Welding process

1. Electric arc welding

Arc welding is one of the most common metal welding processes, using the high temperatures generated by the arc to melt the metal and ignite the connection.

2.Gas Welding

Gas welding uses combustible gases (such as ethyl command) and oxygen combustion to produce high temperatures to melt the metal, commonly used in thin metal plates or small parts of the welding.

3.Resistance Welding

Resistance welding through the current through the workpiece when the resistance of the heat generated by the local melting of the metal, so as to achieve welding.

4.Laser Welding

Laser welding uses a high energy density laser beam to melt the material and achieve precise welding. The process is suitable for thin metals, plastics and other materials, and meets the requirements of electronics, medical devices and the manufacture of tiny parts.

Project the enlarged outline of the workpiece onto the screen for measurement and inspection.

Suitable for checking the size and contour of complex shaped parts.

Can be used for precision measurement, contour analysis, etc.

5、Caliper:

A commonly used length measuring tool

Measures inside diameter, outside diameter, depth, etc.

Measurement accuracy ranges from millimetres to one hundredth of a millimetre.

6、Micrometer:

A highly accurate length measuring instrument

Can measure to 0.01 mm or 0.001 inch accuracy
