Process Introduction

 

Fusion Cutting

Use inert gas (such as nitrogen or argon) to assist in blowing off the melt.

Applicable to materials such as stainless steel and aluminum alloy, with high cutting edge quality and no oxide layer.

Flame Cutting

Use oxygen as auxiliary gas to increase cutting temperature and improve cutting efficiency through oxidation reaction.

Mainly used for materials such as carbon steel and low alloy steel, but it will produce an oxide layer, affecting subsequent processing.

Vaporization Cutting

The laser directly vaporizes the material without using auxiliary gas.

Applicable to low thermal conductivity materials such as plastics, wood, and ceramics.

Stress Fracture Cutting

Applicable to brittle materials (such as glass and ceramics), forming cracks through local heating, and cutting along the cracks.
