What is chrome plating？

Definition

Chromium plating process is a process of electroplating a thin layer of chromium on a metal surface. In this process, a dense chromium layer is formed by an electrochemical reaction in an electrolyte that causes a charge carried by chromium ions to be deposited on the surface of the cathode.
