Hole types in machining
Types of holes in machining:
1. Through hole
The hole completely penetrates the workpiece.

2. Blind Hole
The hole does not penetrate through the hole, but leaves a bottom. The depth must be marked.

3. Threaded Holes
Threads are machined into holes, which can be through holes or blind holes.
For blind holes, attention must be paid to the depth of the thread.

4.Counterbore Hole
A countersunk hole is a hole with a flat bottom and an enlarged head, commonly used for installing fasteners such as countersunk screws.

5. Countersink Hole (⌵)
Any hole of constant diameter connected to another hole of larger diameter above it is called a countersunk hole.
The purpose of the larger hole above is to conceal the screw head.

6. Tapered hole
Characteristics: The diameter gradually changes from one end to the other, usually becoming narrower.

7. Spotface
Purpose: To machine a very shallow, flat surface.
Depth: Usually very shallow, only for surface preparation, not for accommodating screw heads.

8. Interrupted Hole
An interrupted hole is any hole that is interrupted by other features.
