Advanced CNC Milling Capability for Complex Aluminum Parts with High Surface Finish
Shenzhen Pans recently completed the CNC machining of complex aluminum components featuring deep cavities, curved internal profiles, and high surface finish requirements. This project highlights our advanced CNC milling process and machining capability for complex geometries.
CNC Machining Method
The parts were machined from solid aluminum billets using high-precision multi-axis CNC milling. Due to the complex internal structure, multiple machining stages were applied, including rough machining, semi-finishing, and fine finishing, to ensure both dimensional accuracy and surface consistency.
Optimized toolpaths and controlled cutting parameters were used to maintain machining stability, especially in deep pockets and curved areas where surface quality is critical.
Surface Finish and Process Control
To achieve a uniform and clean machined surface, special attention was given to:
-
Fine finishing toolpaths for visible and functional surfaces
-
Consistent surface texture across multiple cavities
-
Smooth transitions between internal contours
These measures help ensure repeatability and reliability, making the parts suitable for further assembly or direct application.
CNC Machining Capability
This project demonstrates Shenzhen Pans’ capability in:
-
CNC milling for complex aluminum components
-
Multi-feature and multi-cavity machining
-
Prototype to small and medium batch production
-
Machining of aluminum, stainless steel, steel, titanium, and engineering plastics
-
In-process and final dimensional inspection
By focusing on machining method optimization and process control, Shenzhen Pans continues to provide stable and reliable CNC machining solutions for industrial and mechanical applications.
