Types of laser cutting technology

1.CO₂ Laser Cutting

Principle: CO₂ laser cutting utilizes a carbon dioxide laser to generate a laser beam for most metallic and non-metallic materials.

Features:

• High cutting quality and good precision.
• Capable of cutting thicker materials.
• Moderate cutting speed, suitable for most routine processing needs.

2. Fiber laser cutting

Principle: Fiber laser cutting technology uses fiber lasers, which can produce higher quality laser beams, suitable for cutting metal materials.

Features:

• High cutting precision and small heat-affected zone.
• Cutting speed, high efficiency.
• Ability to cut thinner metal materials and more complex shapes.

Application: suitable for precision cutting of stainless steel, aluminum alloy, copper alloy, titanium alloy and other metal materials.

2. YAG laser cutting

Principle: YAG laser cutting adopts a solid-state laser, and the generated laser beam can be focused through an optical lens for cutting.

Features:

• Capable of high-precision cutting, especially suitable for cutting thin materials.

• Compared with CO₂ laser, it is suitable for cutting some special materials.
